Overview:
The Inventory Control Manager position will lead a team of Inventory Control associates to maintain accurate inventory records and track levels of supplies, raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods throughout each facility. This position is responsible for facilitating physical inventory counts, monitoring inventory levels, optimizing inventory control procedures, and overseeing the storage of product in operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for data analysis and continuous improvement.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Manages Inventory Control team.Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff. Review procedures to ensure accuracy/timeliness of team’s work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, production, shipments, and on-hand inventory levels.Evaluates deliveries, production, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures.Coordinate with Operations and Accounting groups to organize periodic physical inventory counts.Reconcile various inventory accounts and investigate variances.Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.Drive documentation of SOPs and assist in training new staff as needed.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in inventory management, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management, business administration or similarMinimum of 4 years of experience in a similar roleExperience working with an inventory management software and/or ERP system
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OT will be required as needed.
Travel:
Out-of-state travel will be required periodically throughout the year to support inventory control procedures and physical counts.
